Who is responsible for your data

InspiredTees LLC, a limited liability company registered in the District of Columbia, USA, is responsible for the personal data described here. For any question about it, or to ask us to delete your data, email hello@inspiredtees.shop.

What we collect

We collect the following:

• Order details. Your email address, delivery address and what you ordered. You give these to Stripe at checkout and Stripe passes them to us.
• Prompts and designs. The words you type into the generator, and the images it produces.
• A reminder email address, if you ask for one. When you create a share link you can ask us to email you before that link expires. The address is stored with the share link.
• Cookies. We set a first-party cookie named it_uid, which identifies your browser and contains a random identifier and nothing about you. When you reach the payment step, Stripe's payment form runs on this site and sets its own cookies here to keep your payment session and to detect fraud.
• Server logs. Ordinary web-server records of requests, including IP address.

We do not collect payment card details. Your card is entered directly into Stripe's payment form and we never receive the full number.

Why we hold it

We use your data to take and fulfil your order, to send you order and delivery emails, to send you a share-link reminder if you asked for one, to answer you when you get in touch, to keep the site secure and within fair-use limits, to operate and improve the site, and to meet our tax and accounting obligations.

Who else handles it

Running the shop means passing some data to service providers. Each one sees only what it needs:

• Stripe, for payments and checkout. It receives your name, email, address and card details.
• Printful, for printing and shipping. It receives your name, delivery address and the design to print.
• Resend, to send order emails. It receives your email address and the contents of the email.
• Cloudflare, which routes email to us and stores generated images.
• Google, whose Gmail service holds the mailbox our email arrives in. Anything you write to us sits there, as do our own order alerts, which include the delivery address.
• Anthropic and fal.ai, whose AI models turn your prompt into artwork. They receive the text of your prompt, not your name or address.
• Fly.io, which hosts the site.

These providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. If you order from outside the United States your data will be transferred there.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for at least as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes.

We keep the designs and prompts generated here so that your order page and any share links keep working, and so we can reprint an order if something arrives faulty. A share link stops working once it expires; the image itself stays in our storage after that.

If you asked us to email you before a share link expires, we store that address with the link. Share links last 14 days. Once one has expired we delete our record of it and the reminder address with it; that clean-up runs once a day, so it happens within about a day of the link lapsing. You can take your address off a link sooner using the unsubscribe link in the reminder email.

We also take short-term backups of our records, so that a fault or a mistake cannot lose your order. A copy of something we have deleted can therefore remain in a backup for up to about 7 days afterwards, until that backup is overwritten. We use those backups only to restore the site after a fault, never to look up something we have deleted. If restoring did bring an expired share link back, the daily clean-up would remove it again.

If you would like the personal information we hold about you deleted, email us and we will remove it, apart from anything we are legally required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing or to ask for your data in a portable form.

Email hello@inspiredtees.shop and we will respond as soon as we can, and within any period the law requires. You will not be charged, or treated differently, for exercising these rights.

Children

This site is not intended for children. Please do not use it or place an order if you are under 13. The same age applies under our terms of sale.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
